Seen from behind in a white shirt, he holds the fighter after the bout

Forehead to forehead, the coach talks to his fighter before she steps into the cage

“Because a fight
isn't decided only
in three rounds.”

There are the weeks of preparation, the hand wraps, the coach's last word. And then the cage door closes.

At Barghach Pictures, sports photographer and videographer in Annecy, we film and photograph sport as a story: the tension of the locker room, the walkout under the lights, the exchange that turns a fight, the joy or the disappointment that follows. Every image keeps the truth of the effort.

Because a fight isn't lived only in three rounds, we create images that tell everything around it, for the athletes, their clubs and their fans.

An honest eye,

as close to the cage as it gets

Sport can't be replayed. MMA gala, boxing, judo, a tournament or a club's season: we put our cameras where everything happens, right against the fence, to capture the effort, the looks and the seconds that decide a fight.

A studio that keeps up the pace.

Photo and film, one team and one eye: sharp images even in the fastest action, hand-edited and colour-graded, ready for social media and the big screen alike.

Mourad, camera in hand, waving through a window

The fight has started,

and you're already in it

Nice to meet you! I'm Mourad.

I'm a filmmaker and the founder of Barghach Pictures. I come from cinema, and that's the eye I bring to filming and photographing sport: the light, the rhythm, the silence before the exchange, everything that turns a fight into a story.

A filmmaker's eye on real competition.
Intensity can't be acted, only captured.

On gala night I'm cage-side, discreet but everywhere. I ask nothing of you: you fight, you organise, and I keep every moment so you can relive it and share it.
